April 28, 1937 – September 15, 2024
Passed away peacefully in Montreal, on September 15, 2024 at the age of eighty-seven. Beloved wife of the late Jozef Zver. Loving mother of the late Joseph Zver. Survived by nephews, niece, cousins in Ontario, Slovenia, Austria and Germany and also many relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, September 18, from 1 to 6 p.m. (prayer service to held at 2 p.m.) at the J.A. Guilbault Funeral Home Inc., 5359 St. Michel Blvd. (below Masson), Montreal (Quebec) H1Y 2C8. T 514 721-4925.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff and team of Westmount One for their excellent care, compassion and kindness that they provided Maria over the years.
The funeral service and mass will be held on Thursday, September 19, at 10 a.m. at St-Vladimir Slovenian Parish, 3470 St. Joseph Blvd. East, Montreal (Quebec) H1X 1W6, thence to Le repos Saint-François d’Assise Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to donate in her memory to the St-Vladimir Slovenian Parish.
