March 1933 – February 2024
Passed away peacefully at the age of ninety. Beloved husband of Matilda Glavac (Kustec). Loving and devoted father of Stanley (Line), Vladimir, and Rosaleen (David). Cherished grandfather (Deda) of Emilie (Alex), Jeremy (Sarah-Jeanne), and Kimberly (Jonathan). Loving great-grandfather of Stanley and Paul. Predeceased by his sisters Rozina (Joe), and Regina, his brothers Ivan (Ana), Mirko, Franc, and a stillborn brother. Survived by his brothers and sisters Martin (Gizela), Anton (Josie), Vlado (Sally), Josef (Ivanka), Irena (late Ernest), and Cecilija (Slavko). He will be also be sadly missed by numerous family members and friends in Canada, the United States, France, and Slovenia.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, February 9, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (prayer service to be held at 2:30 p.m.) at J. A. Guilbault Inc. Funeral Home, 5359, St. Michel Blvd. (below Masson) Montreal, Qc H1Y 2C8 (514 721-4925).
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10 at 10 a.m. at St. Vladimir Parish, 3470 St. Joseph Blvd. East, Montreal, Qc H1X 1W6 (514 254-8286), thence to the Près-du-Fleuve Cemetery, 2750, Marie-Victorin Blvd. East Longueuil, Qc J4G 1P5 (514 595-1500).
The family would like to thank the staff at CHSLD René-Lévesque for the excellent care and kindness that they showed Stanislav (Stanislas).
